Box fort

I am a big fan of Dr. Laura. She is a radio talk show host that supports moms raising their children. So one day I was listening to get support to be a better mother and wife. Meanwhile thinking to myself I wish the kids would take a nap and leave me alone for 45 minutes. Obviously I wasn't really internalizing Dr. Laura's advise. So then after I heard a caller that related to myself, I decided to be a good mom. I turned off the radio show and Carson and I spent the rest of the afternoon making this cool box fort.

I even climbed inside for an optimum mother-son bonding experience.

Look at that face, we had a great time. Carson kept saying, "Cool Box, Cool Box".

Notice I'm not a perfect mom, he's still in his pjs and it 3:00 in the afternoon. Line upon line, blah blah blah.

When it got dark, I brought the fort inside for Cooper. So he could play and bask is my good mothering.

We all had a great time. Thanks Dr. Laura.

  1. My favorite line of this post:
"I even climbed inside for an optimum mother-son bonding experience."

I think it's pretty awesome you even had green and blue duct tape!

    YAY for box forts!

  2. That is such a cool idea. . . I have conversations in my head with Dr. Laura and she always keeps me going. Nice work fellow crazy mom.
