1st Lisa, Chapter 1

I, Lisa having been born of goodly parents. Who provided a lifestyle of adventure and travel. To whom I am eternally indebted with gratitude and thanksgiving do here make a record of my proceedings in the lands southward, (Guatemala).

And it came to pass that giants were upon the land, who wore a bright manner of fine twined linen that could be seen for miles around.

And we traveled in the wilderness for many hours.

Whereupon we found abundant wildlife, that brought fear into the hearts of men.

And it came to pass that we came upon a land of desolation, covered with pottery shards and ruins. There were no people to be found up the face of the whole land. I found all manner of buildings, of stone and cement made with curious workmanship.

And now it came to pass that in the eight month of the two thousandth and ninth year we came upon a temple.

And behold, a man of god was brought into this land and climbed upon the walls thereof.

And declared repentance upon the people or they would be destroyed.

Many would not listen because their dehydration and high temperatures. They would rather lay on the cold floors than gather round the temple grounds.

And it came to pass that they were thrown out from the city and the temple grounds and were caused to remain in the wilderness the remainder of their days.

And it came to pass that the man of god was carried away to a promised land (Belize). The remainder of their days were spent in peace and happiness with laughter and lots of scuba diving.

My Anniversary

We've been married 6 years now.

Look at that couple, they obviously had no idea what they were getting themselves into.

Now that couple has weathered a few storms and made it through still smiling. On to the next 50 years. I love you honey.

We've been married long enough, we decided we didn't need a fancy diner or hotel to commemorate our love. (plus the babysitter canceled). So we had diner at home with the family. The boys thought it was cool to have "fire" on the table.
P.S. the blog of my trip is coming, I'm trying to come up something clever so its not just a slide show, stay tuned ...

Book of Mormon

I have finished reading the Book of Mormon in record time. At 10 pages a day and 531 pages, it took roughly 53 days to finish (plus 4 missed days). Reading at that pace was much harder than I expected. Why would I do such a thing? For those of you who don't know me, you can believe that I am a very spiritual minded individual and wanted to have a B of M testimony building experience.
For those of you who do know me, there must be another motive.... and there is, I am going to Quatamala on a Book of Mormon Tour, and finishing up here....

The Blue Hole, in Belize where I will be scuba diving the second largest reef system in the world. That's my reward for finishing the Book of Mormon.

My Husband thinks I'm HOT!!!

I asked my husband to take some pictures while I was boarding. Assuming he would take pictures of the kids, I was suprised to find these on my camera.

When I asked him what he was doing, he just said, "You're hot!" Thank you honey for helping me forget about my stretchmarks and sagginess from being a mother of 2; atleast for a few minuetes. Its nice to be reminded that my man still thinks I'm still Hot.

By the way, I still think my man is hot too!!!!
