We watched a puppy for a weekend and my boys are hooked. This is a fancy Australian labradoodle. One of the coolest dogs of all time. All the boys were devastated when the puppy had to go home. "Boys, we need to have a yard before we can have a dog".
Personally I think borrowing pets is the perfect way to experience them:) We always borrowed Paws and Roy and we borrowed bunnies for two weeks once and our upstairs neighbor let us go up and walk her dog whenever we wanted to so that is a great way to experience them and then let them go back home.
